About us

Mission

We believe that all individuals have value and free will. All people should have the freedom to make their own decisions with their own life and property as they see fit. When applied to everyone in a society, this means that someone’s actions may not infringe on another’s rights. Our network is built on these principles with a focus on applying them in our local area through markets, education, mutual assistance, and a community of like minded individuals.

Philosophy

Our foundational values are based on the idea that all individuals have value and sovereignty over their own thoughts and actions.

Goals

The goal of this initiative is to promote and implement alternative and voluntary systems that are in line with our philosophy.

Outreach

The main forms of outreach we pursue are related to education and building community.

Philosophy

Our foundational values are based on the idea that all individuals have value and sovereignty over their own thoughts and actions. Infringing on another’s natural rights in this sense is against our philosophy. We organize and act around voluntary action and community with like minded individuals. Many of the systems, structures, and hierarchies in our current society do not line up with these principles. In this sense, we have similar views as libertarianism, voluntaryism, anarchism, agorism, and other related philosophies. Instead of focusing our efforts and thoughts on how society is immorally or inefficiently structured, we focus on the positive side of our milieu. There are many alternative movements and systems that provide for the same needs of society without the same negative issues. These parallel systems are our focus. From food production to education, from markets to health and much in between, we believe that this parallel polis, operating with voluntaryism and respect, is the best choice for humanity. For those who would like to join all or part of this endeavor, we welcome you. For those who oppose or are indifferent to our philosophy, we wish you the best as well.

Goals

The goal of this initiative is to promote and implement alternative and voluntary systems that are in line with our philosophy. Some of these already exist locally, some are more in their infancy, and others are non-existent or close to it. Instead of expounding on the failures of the education system, we promote and participate in the local homeschooling community. Instead of complaining about monetary policy and the evils of Wall Street, we promote and use cryptocurrencies, direct investment, and precious metals. While we recognize the extremely poor job much of humanity has done with stewarding this planet, we focus on planting trees, cleaning up natural areas, and participating with nature in a symbiotic way. We would like to be an educational resource to our local community and beyond. We plan to consistently hold classes, presentations, and workshops that cover various concepts that we promote. We would like to continue doing projects together to help one another and build on these principles. We would like to build out working groups and/or discussion groups for each of the concepts related to our goals so that those interested in them can have a niche community to learn with, organize around, and participate together in. Our goals are to build out this parallel society that so many of us wish was the norm.

Outreach

The main forms of outreach we pursue are related to education and building community. On the education front, this website provides an overview of most of the topics related to our philosophy and goals. It also has means of contacting us as well as links to a plethora of outside resources for further research. For those who are a part of our initiative, we have internal platforms for facilitating the sharing of ideas, opportunities, news, research, and other related content. For a more direct and hands on approach to education, we host educational events in the form of classes, presentations, workshops, and similar happenings. The goal is for these to be accessible for a beginner as well as enlightening to someone familiar with the space. Sometimes this can be achieved in one event and sometimes they will be focused on either the novice or the advanced perspective. Examples of event topics include homesteading, blockchain and cryptocurrency, homeschooling, natural health, data privacy, self defense, preparedness, and the other subjects you will find on this website.

Our outreach related to community comes in a few forms as well. First and foremost, we are building a community of like minded individuals pursuing our core principles. This provides a very personal and direct connection to individuals involved and creates the opportunity for building personal relationships. Meetup groups are another form of outreach. These are focused on specific topics or concepts such as the local Blockchain group and a local Homesteading and Gardening group that are hosted by individuals who are a part of our initiative. They are more loosely connected to our broad goals but fill the specific niches they are in well and provide for the promotion and growing of these areas. Group projects are organized as well and can range from having a few people team up on a small project in someone’s backyard to having over a dozen individuals coming together for a full day to tackle a larger need. Regardless, the projects are centered around mutual assistance, building community, and working hands on in the fields that we promote.
